Participation Process

  • Submit invention and innovation proposals for the preliminary selection round through the National Research and Innovation Information System (NRIIS) at:
    https://nriis.go.th
  • Teams that pass the selection process will participate in the TVET Smart Idea2Innovation: Vocational Inventions and Innovations Toward Practical Applications activity during May–June 2026
  • Proposal submissions are open from now until 23 March 2026

Participant Qualifications

To promote equitable access and strengthen research collaboration networks, the following criteria apply:

Target Group

Students at the Vocational Certificate (Por Wor Chor: Level 1–2) or Higher Vocational Certificate (Por Wor Sor: Level 1) levels, to enable continuous development of their projects prior to graduation

Team Composition

Each team must consist of:

  • 2 academic advisors
  • 2 students

This structure is intended to enhance coaching effectiveness and knowledge transfer

Selection Consideration

Priority will be given to institutions with diverse participation, particularly supporting opportunities for early-career researchers whose inventions or research outputs have not previously received awards
