🏢 The Research and Development Institute of Nakhon Phanom University participated in the meeting for the preparation of the Nakhon Phanom Provincial Development Plan (2028–2032), aiming toward becoming “A Livable City and the Economic Gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion.”

🗓 On May 19, 2026, the Director of the Research and Development Institute assigned  Arpaporn Suporn and Patchayathun Kinaret from the institute to attend the meeting on the formulation of the 5-year provincial development plan (2028–2032) under the vision of becoming “A Livable City and the Economic Gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion,” in alignment with the national strategy.

🌱 Nakhon Phanom Province has established development guidelines focusing on improving the quality of life and income of local residents alongside the development of the economy, trade, investment, and tourism. The goal is to concretely drive Nakhon Phanom toward becoming “A Livable City and the Economic Gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion.” The meeting also provided clarification on policies, criteria, procedures for preparing the provincial development plan, and guidelines for drafting the province’s annual operational action plans.

📌 This meeting was organized to provide government agencies and related organizations with a framework and direction for preparing Nakhon Phanom Province’s annual operational action plans for fiscal years 2028–2032. The meeting was held at Phra That Phanom Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Nakhon Phanom Provincial Hall (New Building).
