On 1 August 2026, the Research and Development Institute, Nakhon Phanom University (NPU) convened the 3rd Research and Innovation Fund Committee Meeting of 2026. The meeting was held in a hybrid format at the Institute’s 1st Floor Meeting Room and via Zoom Meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Professor Emeritus Dr. Thawatchai Supadit, with distinguished committee members Professor Dr. Therdchai Chuaybamrung and Ajarn Supranee Jongdeepaisarn in attendance.
Key Agenda Items
The committee reviewed project progress, financial reports, and considered several important proposals, including:
- Approval of funding for academic publication support and intellectual property registration
- Approval of financial support for presenting research at national and international conferences, as well as innovation and technology exhibitions
- Consideration of the Research and Innovation Fund Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2027
- Review of the draft announcement on support for academic publications and intellectual property registration
- Discussion of proposed revisions to the New Researcher Qualification Criteria for Fiscal Year 2026
- Consideration of research project proposals under the Researcher Development Grant Program of the Research and Innovation Fund for Fiscal Year 2026
The committee provided recommendations and strategic guidance to ensure that the Research and Innovation Fund continues to effectively support the advancement of research, innovation, and academic excellence at Nakhon Phanom University.
