Research and Development Institute, Nakhon Phanom University Organizes Training on Human Research Ethics Standards to Enhance Research Quality

 

The Research and Development Institute of Nakhon Phanom University (NPU) has implemented the Research Standards Management Study Project, funded by the Thailand Science, Research and Innovation Promotion Fund (TSRI) under the fiscal year 2025 science, research, and innovation development allocation for Nakhon Phanom University.

As part of this project, the Institute organized a “Human Research Ethics Standards” training program on Thursday, 6 August 2026, with two training sessions:

  • Morning session (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Room 408, Faculty of Management Science and Information Technology, Nakhon Phanom University
  • Afternoon session (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Room 421, Faculty of Education, Nakhon Phanom University

The training was delivered by Petty Officer First Class Dr. Wanlop Boonthanang, Researcher at the Research and Development Institute, Nakhon Phanom University. The program covered the following key topics:

  • The importance of human research ethics standards
  • The relationship between human research ethics and students and education
  • Building a correct understanding of the principles and standards of human research ethics
  • Guidelines for conducting transparent, ethical, and credible research within the university

The objective of the training was to strengthen the capabilities of faculty members, researchers, and students in conducting research in accordance with international ethical standards, promoting transparency, integrity, and the production of high-quality, trustworthy research.
