Research and Development Institute Undergoes 5S(5ส) Evaluation to Promote an Efficient Working Environment

On May 18, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kochakorn Dechakhamphu, Deputy Director of the Research and Development Institute, Nakhon Phanom University, together with the institute’s staff, welcomed the 5S Evaluation Committee of Nakhon Phanom University for the fiscal year 2026. The evaluation was conducted at the first-floor meeting room of the Research and Development Institute.

The evaluation committee was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Runglawan Iamkusonkij, Vice President for Special Affairs and Educational Quality Assurance of Nakhon Phanom University, and included several committee members who visited and assessed the institute’s working environment and operational practices.

The evaluation was organized to promote a workplace environment based on the principles of the 5S methodology: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. During the visit, the committee inspected various work areas and provided recommendations on workspace organization to enhance safety and improve operational efficiency.
