Call for Submissions: Nakhon Phanom University Research and Innovation Awards 2026

The Research and Development Institute, Nakhon Phanom University, invites faculty members and researchers to submit their research and innovation works to participate in the Nakhon Phanom University Research and Innovation Awards 2026.

This initiative aims to provide opportunities for researchers to disseminate their work to the public and promote the integration of research into practical community applications and commercial utilization. It also seeks to strengthen a standardized research ecosystem and encourage collaboration among researchers and partners from the public sector, private sector, and industry. Furthermore, the program serves as a platform to support faculty members and researchers in presenting their work at regional and national levels.

Objectives

  1. To select outstanding research and innovation works for presentation at regional and national platforms
  2. To promote and support researchers in presenting their research and innovation works at regional and national levels
  3. To raise awareness of the value of research, technology, and innovation as high-impact outputs contributing to economic, social, and environmental development, leading to utilization, intellectual property registration, and solutions to key national development challenges
  4. To recognize and honor outstanding researchers as role models and inspire researchers of Nakhon Phanom University

Research and Innovation Presentation Themes

  • Research and innovation for the Bio-Based Economy, High-Value Agriculture, and the BCG Economy Model
  • Research and innovation for the Creative Economy, Industry, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
  • Research and innovation for social advancement, well-being, and sustainable quality of life
  • Research and innovation in natural resources, environment, and sustainability
  • Frontier and Fundamental Research

Award Categories

  1. Category Awards (by thematic area) – 15 awards
  2. Gold Awards – 5 awards
    Prize: 3,000 Baht each
    Recipients will represent the University in presenting their works at regional research expos and related events
  3. Silver Awards – 5 awards
    Prize: 2,000 Baht each
  4. Bronze Awards – 5 awards
    Prize: 1,000 Baht each
  5. Grand Excellence Award – 1 award
    Prize: 10,000 Baht
    The recipient will represent the University at the Thailand Research Expo 2026 and other national research events

All participants will receive a certificate of appreciation
